Last week's releases focused on fixes over features. Most notably, our developers improved translation capabilities and added a new support number for PayPal errors. 

We're also excited to share an upcoming enhancement to our form goal progress bars! Soon, we will begin excluding recovered transaction fees from form goal progress. Keep reading for more information.

🌟 Update to Form Goal Progress

What is happening?

In May, we will release an update to the GiveWP plugin that excludes recovered transaction fees (using the Fee Recovery add-on) from goal progress. 

Why are fees being excluded?

We received a lot of feedback in our forum from customers who want to exclude fees. It is a more accurate representation of funds raised toward the goal. 

How does this impact me?

With this update, you may notice a decrease in form goal progress on any forms where fees have been recovered. You may want to communicate this adjustment to any internal and external stakeholders, like board members.

What happens next?

Be on the lookout for release information across email and social media. We'll tell you the release version and date as soon as possible so you can conveniently time your updates and communications.

⚙️ Features, Enhancements, and Fixes

GiveWP 3.10.0

• Enhancement: We replaced the PayPal support number that appears in error messages for connection issues. The new number is 1-888-350-2387.

• Fix: We merged work submitted by Github user @DAnn2012 that makes two text strings translatable: the "Switch to Legacy View" button in the Donations list table and "Color Settings" in the Donation Form Grid.

Peer-to-Peer 2.2.0

• Fix: Translations were being applied to the words "fundraiser," "team," and "campaign" in Peer-to-Peer page URLs, which caused broken links. We ensured that translating Peer-to-Peer will not break links.
