WordPress 6.9 is coming — on Giving Tuesday (December 2, 2025)

Heads up! WordPress is scheduled to release version 6.9 on Giving Tuesday this year. If your site has automatic updates turned on, your site may update that day — right in the middle of one of the biggest giving events of the year.
